All British visitors to India must obtain a visa before departure. It is your responsibility to arrange this. The method for obtaining an Indian Visa changed in May 2008 and they are now obtained through the India Visa Application Centre ( http://in.vfsglobal.co.uk ) which has been officially authorised by the High Commission of India.

All applications must be completed online. This may be quite daunting for some people so to help our customers we have written our own guide to completing the form.

In addition to the Indian Visa, a permit is required to visit certain areas of India (including the Lakshadweep Islands). We will arrange this for our customers.

The Republic of Maldives issues visitors a visa on arrival and currently this is free of charge.
